The ESOL (English As A Second Language)

2008 - 2009

The New Haven Adult and Continuing Education Center's ESOL program includes participants from over 108 countries worldwide. Many of our students are new to this country and must learn the language and customs for social interaction, as well as seeking employment. Others are interested in advancing their reading, writing and speaking skills. Our trained ESOL staff welcomes all new students into our warm and truly multicultural environment.

We offer a range of courses for students beginning with Literacy to Advanced English reading and writing. Following is a listing and descriptions of the course selections.
